The Cutter Group was started over 4 years ago to supply mining equipment and Management to Australian underground coal mines.
Of course The Cutter Group started with a cutter as our first piece of equipment. We started with one QDS attachment - the QDS Trencher .
The Trencher is a handy attachment for many underground jobs especially underground roadworks and pumping work.
Some of the specs for the trencher are:
Weight 2.5 tonne
Overall length approx 3.9m
Cutting depth approx. 1m
Chain width can be varied nominally from 100mm (as fitted 175mm)
Side shift fitted
Pneumatic control with two hand control for side shift
Hydraulic pressure and flow required is Nominally 20 Mpa and 150 lpm

We are currently just finishing some modifications on our 2nd QDS Trencher attachment and will share the specs and photos very soon.
